The Village Work Centre

Protective Work Centre providing employment to 129 workers from the age of 18 years up with varying degrees of mental and physical disabilities work. They are collected from their homes in the areas of Northern Suburbs as well as from Mitchells Plain, Retreat, Grassy Park, the Cape Flats, Manenberg, Silvertown, Athlone and Lansdowne.

The Centre receives a subsidy from the Department of Social Development and Community Chest and funding from the National Lottery. Funds are raised with the sale of goods manufactured at the Centre.
